Two of her dye-on-silk pieces will be at this year's The Russell Live Auction on March 21: "Bathing Buddies" (28x33) and "Ghost Rider" (28x28). "As I look around our house, I realize the art on my walls is from artists I have met in person and developed a friendship with. For whatever reason, this seems important to me. Western Art Week in Great Falls provides a wonderful opportunity to meet a wide range of artists," shared Cawdrey in her newsletter. "I once discovered that Charlie Russell painted a couple of pieces on silk, probably his wife's old petticoat. We artists will paint on any surface given half a chance."
