Drug Delivery to the Lungs—DDL2020 Dedicated to pulmonary and nasal drug delivery, Drug Delivery to the Lungs provides an annual forum for sci- entists, academics and clinicians, as well as regulatory and industry specialists involved in developing medicines for inhalation. e Drug Delivery to the Lungs Conference will return to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre in Scotland, December 9-11, 2020, for its 31st Conference. DDL2020 will include a series of themed sessions with invited and submitted lectures by experts and students. It attracts an extensive selection of posters and podium presentations. e networking exhibition offers stands from the pharmaceutical industry, suppliers, instrument manufacturers and contract research organi- zations. Notably, DDL2020 will recognize the work of students as well as emerging scientists through a series of awards presented at the conference. Expert faculty of aerosol scientists, engineers and clinicians will present a primer for those ready to jump-start their careers in medical aerosols or as a refresher for experienced profes- sionals and researchers wishing to update their knowl- edge. Diverse, international participants are expected, including those from industry, contract research organi- zations, regulatory agencies and academia. Upon com- pletion of the program, participants should understand the measurements and techniques utilized in commer- cial pharmaceutical and biotech laboratories as well as in academic research. Supported by ISAM, the 2020 Aerosol School will be held September 23-25 at the Uni- versity of Alberta, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
