It aims to assist in improving the repeatable delivery and efficacy of inhalation therapy products. It can trap and measure individual pharmaceutical droplets for periods ranging from seconds to days. Once droplets are trapped, the system can perform non-linear Raman spectroscopy to determine droplet size (±1 nm) and refractive index, with exceptional accuracy (< ± 0.1%). It also can identify certain func- tional groups, thereby enabling the progress of chem- ical reactions or the loss/uptake of chemical species to be monitored. One of its meanings is replicating how (and how effectively) an aerosolized drug behaves when a patient inhales, by using dissolution techniques and more representative airway geometries and patient breathing patterns. MSP, a Division of TSI, can help you correlate the complex interaction of many of these variables with our array of dissolution equipment, alternative throat devices and customizable breathing pattern profiles. PreciseInhale ® puts you in control of your aerosol—and your outcomes—with data so precise your research will be leading. Its "pre- cision dosing" technique generates repeatable, predic- tive PK data with typical standard deviation of < 10%, using one animal at a time or the advanced in vitro dissolution module DissolvIt. For IVIVC findings of unparalleled precision and full 3R compliance, get the power of preclinical precision with the PreciseInhale aerosol generator.
