This basement remodel was created for a
family that loves sports, games and
entertaining friends and family. The finished
space consists of a spacious main
recreation room with a wet bar, a playroom,
a combination home office/guest room with
a full bath, an additional half bath, and a
large home gym. To open up space in the
recreation room, a new steel support beam
was installed and an existing steel column
removed to create an open area to house
their large couch. Custom cabinetry along
the back wall adds storage and glass
shelving to display their sports memorabilia
and three TVs.

This family desired a hall of fame for their hockey
collection and a place to display their international
wine collection. This basement renovation provided
just that. The space features a big pub-style bar in
a dark cherry wood finish with a stone top and
stylish pendant lights. A custom arched panel
glass door provides access into the wine cellar,
which features mahogany wine racks, beaded
stain grade paneling, and an exotic stone counter.
The space also includes a hidden storage door
with display shelving, a gym, full bathroom and
feature wall for framed hockey jerseys. A stacked
stone fireplace and wide-plank flooring throughout
complete the look.
