We have sings posted regarding COVID guidance from the CDC, installed a plexiglass barrier between clients and the front desk staff, and require masks to be worn for people inside the building. We have employed misters throughout the hospital that diffuse a hydro peroxide mist into the air which is supposed to bind to any bacteria and virus reducing possibility of transmission. We hope it is working, but kind of hard to tell if we have just been lucky or if it is working. We are using face masks and shields. Clients aren't allowed in the clinic yet except for euthanasia's. We did contract with a printing company to make three extremely large signs so clients know to call when they arrive. We also placed a large "Do Not Enter" street sign in front of the doors. We are keeping clients in their cars with curbside. All staff must wear a mask inside or outside of the building and we try our best to use the six feet rule. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, did your clinic have an online pharmacy for clients? If you did not, did you establish one in light of COVID-19? Would an online pharmacy have been helpful? We have started an online pharmacy during the pandemic, and are working on implementing and expanding that part of our business. We continue to utilize our online pharmacy and have been more proactive in not just filling scripts but fighting the faxes using Covetrus' solution. We spend too many labor hours making online retailers money, so I am happy to reduce that however possible. No online store before the pandemic or even now. This could have been helpful, but the clinic owners were concerned about data privacy. Yes, we use the Covetrus online pharmacy and we have been mailing out in-house prescriptions to clients as well. Most are ok with coming by the clinic and calling in and we take payment over the phone and bring out the prescriptions.
