Over those years, Redstone's members have helped send man to the moon, served together after 9/11, and supported one another through the Great Recession and tornado outbreaks. is year, as Redstone turns 70, we face a new enemy – the coronavirus – and we stand side by side with our employees, members, and communities to attack this crisis together! I'm optimistic about 2021 and excited to see Redstone reach another milestone. Despite the challenges, we have processes and plans in place to meet each one head-on. I'm optimistic about the economic growth we are seeing in North Alabama and Middle Tennessee. We have weathered the economic storm here better than lots of other areas. More jobs are coming, and that means financial stability for our members and communities. We continue to offer support and resources for those in our community who have suffered financial setbacks. We have been inundated with requests for financial counseling, and we offer it to our members at no cost. Whatever their situation, we invite our members to talk to us about it. Together, we will find a solution! I'm optimistic that our Credit Union will continue to live out its purpose. It was formed 70 years ago to serve people of modest means who need access to credit. Fundamentally, that has not changed over the years. In addition, we are constantly asking ourselves: How can we make this a better place than we found it? "People Helping People" is how! Yes! ere is much to be optimistic about as we enter 2021. ank you for being our member, and we wish you the best this year has to offer. from the CEO: Joseph H. Newberry
