with more than a million head of layer chickens and 293
million eggs produced.
Montana is second in the country for honey production

We should be proud to have such a strong and
noteworthy history in farming and ranching. Farmers
and ranchers work hard, receive very little thanks, and
provide a rich legacy for our entire nation. Agriculture
continues to be the primary economic driver in our state
and even more so locally. So, the next time you see a
farmer or rancher driving a semi hauling their grain or
livestock or in the store where we shop, give them a
wave and thank them to show our appreciation!
