"I work in a variety of colored
mediums on flat surfaces, including
canvas, watercolor papers, and even
relatively flat surfaces such as buffalo
skulls, old wooden shingles, or Brazilian
agate," he says.
Diane's homestead on the Rocky
Mountain front near Fairfield has been
a fantastic source of inspiration for her
gamut of creative endeavors, and
many of her subjects are derived from
her own experiences.
She is particularly well-known as an
exquisite equine artist.
"Diane uses watercolors, oils, and
creates bronze sculptures," AAM
Vice President and fellow artist Jean
Fleming-Mazur says, running down the
list of Diane's many creative abilities.
"She's a talented framer, as well."
