Marysville House has been in operation for decades, but the building that houses today's
beloved local steak and seafood restaurant has an even more storied past. It was originally
constructed in the late 1800s as a Northern Pacific Railroad Station in nearby Silver City. Aer
accommodating weary travelers for years, the station shut down, and the building sat vacant. In
1975, Marysville resident Rick O'Connell bought it up, hauled it to the town his family helped
pioneer, and reopened it as a restaurant and watering hole.
