ENGINE PRECLEANERS Maradyne Corporation's Turbo precleaners are intended to protect machinery from micro-abrasive dust before it can enter the air filter, helping extend equipment life. The precleaners' straight-through air-flow path forces dirty incoming air to enter at the top of the units and flow into guide vanes. The air is then directed into a high-velocity air-powered rotor chamber, which is powered by the machine's engine and rotating at about 10,000 rpm. Engineered blades then create centrifugal force, spinning more than 85 percent of contaminants out of the unit and allowing only purified air into the machinery. Easy to install or retro-fit, the system allows for online and continuous measurement. It can be utilized with wind turbines, oil-lubricated turbines, test stands for automotive and marine applications, as well as for the analysis of lubricant performance. Decentralized monitoring makes it ideal for remote or offshore locations. Engineered to eliminate the slow, labor-intensive task of manual lubrication, the wire rope lubricator forces lubricant under high pressure (up to 5,500 psi) right to the core of the wire rope. It is available in both kit and component form. The oval gear configuration offers accuracy and dependability with a minimum number of wearable parts for long service life and easy field maintenance. The Model IOG line also features a compact size that is intended for either vertical or horizontal installation into confined areas where space is at a premium.
