Create a healthy start for calves
The first dose of Protivity can be administered to calves
as young as 1 week of age versus the competitors'
minimum administration age of 45 days.2 Follow with a
second dose 21 days later.
As part of a young-calf vaccination program,
Protivity can work alongside intranasal vaccines,
such as Inforce 3®, which helps protect young calves
from infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus,
parainfluenza 3 (PI
3
) virus and bovine respiratory
syncytial virus (BRSV).
Receive safe and effective protection
Protivity demonstrated protection by 6 weeks of age
against respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma
bovis when calves received two doses of Protivity.
3,
In a challenge study, Protivity vaccination generated
74% (P = 0.0001) reduction of total lung lesions (mean
percentage), relative to controls, when calves received
two doses of the vaccine.

Put Protivity into your program
Contact your veterinarian to include Protivity in your
vaccination program. Protivity should not be used
concurrently with an antibiotic that has demonstrated
activity against Mycoplasma bovis.
A new way to help prevent
respiratory disease
Protivity is the first modified-live bacterial vaccine on
the market for protection against Mycoplasma bovis.
Despite different tools available to manage disease
challenges, respiratory disease caused by M. bovis
continues to be a problem.
