L
egends West Art Show sets itself apart from others by
pushing the boundaries of art in terms of the artists' mediums.
ere are metal artists and woodcarvers, artists that weave with
wheat, and artists that create pieces using stained glass. Legends
West Art Show is one of four shows appearing under one roof at
the Four Seasons Arena at Montana ExpoPark.
Legends West brings together a mix of artists that have shown
at Western Art Week for many years and artists new to the show,
like painter Tara Radosevich.
"Art was something I always felt I was meant to do," Tara
says. She grew up in an urban area of Florida and received her
Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus on painting at the University
of South Florida, but her heart has always been out west. "Ever
since I was lile, I've had a fascination with animals, specifically
western wildlife," she says. Tara realized her dreams of seeing
the West aer high school when she took trips to the western
states, including Yellowstone National Park. She fell even deeper
in love and ultimately realized her dream when she moved to
Bozeman in 2020. She continues to visit Yellowstone National
Park for inspiration.
