If you've aended the March in Montana show in previous years, you know
that the sale of the finest quality Winchester rifles have become a regular
event. A special item to look out for this year is an 1866 rifle engraved by the
famed 19th-century engraver Louis Daniel Nimshke along with a rare 1894
Trapper rifle.
Ron doesn't know exactly how many people aended last year's show, but
it was standing room only. He wants to emphasize that they are reconfiguring
the room this year to give everyone more space. "People think of auctions
as boring and snooty, but this is a high-energy, fast-paced auction, and it's
important to us that everyone has a great time," says Ron. "People come to
the sale that haven't seen their friends in three to four years since COVID, so
that's nice to see them be able to get back together."
March in Montana Auction & Dealer Show is free and open to the public.
In addition, to live bidding, the auction will be online via Bidsquare and
iCollector. Telephone and absentee bidding are always available for the
same buyer's premium as live bidders.
