This total basement renovation
was completed in its entirety, having
started with the home's barebones
concrete foundation walls. Now this
basement sits at over 1,700 square
feet of living space, with nine-foot
ceilings, a gym room, a full
bathroom with a walk-in shower,
and barn doors. Special storage
solutions were a must-have in this
basement, between the built-in
bench seating and the Murphy
bookshelf door that leads to a
hidden media room.

MOM'S DESIGN BUILD
SHAKOPEE, MINNESOTA
With the construction of a new home,
the client wanted to create a natural oasis
reminiscent of time spent in the mountains
at their vacation home. The project
integrated four elements: Fire, Water,
Earth, and Air to fulfill the homeowner's
dream landscape design. Water features,
extensive gardens and new trees, natural
stone, and winding pathways make this
lake house a true nature retreat.
