Outdoor Oasis — Our project goal was to design
a high-end outdoor living space where the client
could host family, friends, and business colleagues.
There was an emphasis on entertaining, with a
chef's kitchen and multiple areas for outdoor
activities and everyday enjoyment.
We enlarged the existing space and simplified
exterior finishes for a more serene visual experience
through the application of a smooth-finish exterior
stucco covering the outdated rock veneer and brick.
The simplicity of the new stucco wall allowed for the
installation of a focal-point fireplace and TV.
The project features multiple living areas, lounging
destinations, and sports courts connected by
lighted paths including a pergola area, pool, spa,
putting green, pickleball court, bocce ball court, and
firepit with lounge chairs. The outdoor kitchen
features two spectacular 12-foot waterfall-edge
islands, featuring an Italian pizza oven, gas grill and
griddle, chilled condiment storage, refrigerator, ice
machine, and sink and beverage chiller. Sealed
storage space and waste disposal were also
incorporated into the cabinetry.
The spacious living area boasts a linear gas
fireplace, upholstered Lee outdoor sofa and swivel
chairs, biophilic inspired coffee tables, and large
TVs. Cozy landing spaces are sprinkled through the
garden, complete with fire features.
The AV system was upgraded to a new smart-
phone-controlled surround sound Sonos system and
works in tandem with the kitchen under-cabinet
lighting and the three 85" TVs that may be easily
viewed from any area of the pool, patio, or garden.
