remember dirt as we do – as
the great giver, the green
earth from which all things
grew – that we were born

games they played on the Wii, texting
marathons on the i-phone, going to
see jazzed-up remakes of The Lone
Ranger, Cinderella, Snow White
and The Wild, Wild West.
