PRODUCT NEwS 22 May - June 2014 | OiL DraiN VaLVe The new EZ Oil Drain Valve from Global Sales Group was created to replace standard oil drain plugs on all engines for clean and easy oil changes. The valve, which can also be used for oil sampling, fea- tures a ball valve mechanism for leak-proof operation, an O-ring seal for improved sealing ability and a reinforced plastic lever cover for easy opening/closing. The valve can be installed without any special tools. All that is required is to simply turn the lever to drain the oil. Turn the lever back, and it locks closed. Global Sales Group 425-999-1200 OVeN ChaiN LubriCaNt Lubrication Engineers' new Ovenwor x H1 Syn Chain Lubricant (4061) is specif ically formulated to combat the demanding conditions present with oven chain applications, including those at food manufacturing plants. Featuring oxidation stabilit y and reduced vol- atility at high temperatures, it can lubricate chains up to 572 degrees F. The lubricant also seals out damaging moisture, pre- venting corrosion that can lead to premature failure of oven chain pins and bushings. The fully synthetic formula incorporates a high-viscosity base f luid to penetrate the moving par ts of the oven chain, enabling them to move freely. Lubrication Engineers 800-537-7683 GriNDiNG FLuiD SintoGrind 353 from Oelheld is a premium gear-grind- ing fluid formulated from pure synthetic base stocks for demanding grinding tasks. Its lubricity helps to extend wheel life and minimizes heat buildup in the workpiece. This results in higher production rates and the elimina- tion of surface cracks and burns. The fluid has no haz- ardous elements and exhibits stable viscosity at a wide range of temperatures. With proper filtration, it can provide users with an unlimited lifespan while handling hardened steels with ease. Oelheld 847-531-8501 LubriCaNt iNspeCtiON DeViCe Luneta's new Condition Monitoring Pod (CMP) is a multi-parameter inspection device for modernizing and expanding daily lubricant inspections. It is designed to provide an improved method of inspecting the health of machinery without the need for laboratory analysis. With a platform of 16 capabilities, the CMP fea- tures a built-in oil sampling port, an easy-to-remove-and-view magnetic plug, a corrosion/varnish inspection probe and a quick lubricant access point for syringe sampling. Best applications include gearboxes, bearing oil sumps, hydraulic res- ervoirs, compressor oil reservoirs, turbine-generator main oil tanks and paper machine central reservoirs. Luneta 888-742-2021
