GENERaL-PURPOSE GREaSE
Lubrication Engineers' new Monocal GP Grease
(1499) is a general-purpose lubricant for use in severe
conditions. It is formulated to provide long-lasting
protection for industrial and mobile equipment used
in a variety of industries, especially those in which
moisture problems are caused by high humidity,
elevated operating temperatures and severe envi-
ronmental contamination. The high-performance
formula features a high-viscosity base fluid, a calci-
um-sulfonate complex thickener and a wear-reducing
additive. This combination imparts a high dropping
point, extreme-pressure characteristics, mechanical
stability, low oil bleed and water resistance.

CUTTING FLUID
Q8 Baroni XHS from Q8Oils is a high-perfor-
mance, water-based cutting fluid designed
for general machining applications including
deep-hole drilling, boring, skiving and roller
burnishing. The fully synthetic metalworking
fluid is formulated with unique water-soluble
lubricity additives that allow its use not to be
limited by water quality. The additives also
ensure excellent surface finish and extended
tool life. The fluid's low-foaming properties
help to minimize spillages and do not result in
loss of machine pressure.

HOSE SEaLING SYSTEM
The Clean Seal System from UltraClean utilizes heat-shrink
technology to encapsulate the end of a hose or tube assembly.
This eliminates possible contamination that is problematic with
traditional capping and plugging methods when ill-fitting caps
and plugs are forced onto assemblies, causing plastic particles
to shear off into the hose or tube. The system, which can seal
multiple hose or tube assemblies at one time, also has a remov-
able and adjustable plunger shelf for sealing angle/elbow fittings.

FUEL DILUTION METER
The Spectro FDM Q600 is a portable fuel analysis dilution meter that can be used in the
laboratory or in the field to provide rapid and accurate measurements of fuel contam-
ination in engine oil. The meter employs a surface acoustic wave (SAW) vapor micro-
sensor to measure the concentration of fuel in used lubricating oil samples by sampling
the headspace in the sample bottle. Requiring just more than 60 seconds to perform a
measurement, the Q600 can analyze 40 or more samples per hour.
