Started in the fall of 1982 as the Hillman Robbins Memorial Tournament, the Memphis Intercollegiate is one of the top annual tournaments in collegiate golf. When current head coach Grant Robbins brought the tournament back in 2004, he selected the prestigious Colonial Country Club as the new site. Colonial CC is one of the premiere golf facilities in the Mid-South and features two 36-hole championship courses in addition to practice facilities. The Tigers have enjoyed success since the tournament changed locations, winning back-to- back titles in 2004 and 2005 and finishing in the top three in five of the last seven seasons.
