82 82 Day 1 Arrive London (D) Welcome to London! You will be met at Heathrow Airport and transferred ^ to your centrally located hotel (book fl ights to arrive before midday). Your half day sightseeing tour of London's West End shows you Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace. Overnight Stay: Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt, London Day 2 London – Stratford – York (FB) This morning we travel to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit the birthplace of Shakespeare, and visit Chatsworth House, then north to the ancient capital of Viking Britain. Overnight Stay: Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate or similar Day 3 York – Edinburgh (FB,D) Your included guided walking tour will reveal York's Roman and Viking heritage. Continue driving north to see Hadrian's Wall and cross the wild Northumberland moors into Scotland. Two Night Stay: Apex City Hotel Day 4 Edinburgh Sightseeing (FB) Our included guided tour will explore all of the key sights in the city, board the Royal Yacht Britannia and tour inside Edinburgh castle, dominating the city from its rocky crag. Tonight, enjoy the Military Tattoo. Day 5 Edinburgh – Highlands HD (FB,HD) This morning we enjoy a private guided visit to Holyrood Palace, the Queen's offi cial residence in Scotland. Visit Scone Palace and Royal coronation site. Enroute we visit a Whisky Distillery and sample some of Scotland's fi nest. You're Invited: This evening enjoy a Highland Dinner. Overnight Stay: Kings Mill Hotel, Inverness or similar Day 6 Highlands – Glasgow (FB) Mountains and glens greet you as you drive through Glencoe, famed for the tale of the Loch Ness Monster. You'll board a guided cruise on one of Scotland's most beautiful lochs. Later we drive onto Scotland's largest city, Glasgow. Overnight Stay: Hilton Garden Inn, Glasgow or similar Day 7 Glasgow – Lakes District (FB,D) This morning we enjoy a sightseeing tour which will include the 12th century cathedral and the gothic style infi rmary. See the city's ancient encircling walls and its remarkable 13th century black and white galleried 'Rows'. Continue into Wales, and visit Caernarfon, dominated by its majestic 13th century Castle. Sail across the sea to Ireland and its capital, Dublin. Day 11 Dublin – Limerick (FB) This morning we head across Ireland's rich farmland to the coast. We take a spectacular drive along the Atlantic coastline of the Cliffs of Moher. Overnight Stay: George Boutique Hotel, Limerick Day 12 Limerick – Ring of Kerry – Killarney (FB) We drive around the Ring of Kerry, a wonderful landscape hewn by the last Ice Age with some of the most beautiful and unspoilt coastline in Ireland. Overnight Stay: Killarney Towers Hotel Day 13 Killarney – Waterford (FB,D) Visit the 15th century Blarney Castle, the home of the famous stone of eloquence, once kissed, never forgotten! Travel on to Midleton for a tour and tasting at Jameson's Irish Whiskey Distillery, followed by a visit to the Waterford Crystal Showroom. Overnight Stay: Dooleys Hotel, Waterford Day 14 Waterford – Cardiff (FB) Drive to Rosslare to take the ferry across the Irish Sea to Pembroke. Continue through the valleys of South Wales to the Welsh capital, Cardiff.
