Veronica Zimmerman, a highly touted recruit from Ohio, sat out the 2011 season nursing a knee injury. She returned to practice during the middle of the season and will be expected to be a key contributor in 2012. Zimmerman, who had a highly decorated career at St. Ursula Academy, highlighted her career by handing out 37 assists and adding six service aces to lead the Arrows to the school's second-ever state title. St. Ursula finished the year ranked No. 1 in Ohio with a 28-1 record. The Arrows also pulled in a 25th national ranking by MaxPreps.com. The 2010 First Team All-State selection has been voted to play in both the District 7 Senior All- Star match and the State All-Star match.
