Combination processor
SolidLab 1 processor mixes, coats, and
performs fluid-bed drying and granula-
tion. Three interchangeable processing
modules share HVAC system, controls,
and interface, minimizing footprint and
operator training. Fully perforated, side-
vented coating pan allows effective dry-
ing and low-temperature operation.
Opticoat spray gun prevents clogs.
Fluid-bed module uses top spray and/or
bottom spray. Diskjet tangential air dif-
fusion provides fluidization for
homogenous coating and fast process-
ing. Batch sizes range from 0.05 to 2
kilograms. Modules replicate produc-
tion-scale vessels, easing scale-up.
Options include automatic operation,
data recording and export, trend depic-
tion, and compatibility with 21 CFR
Part 11.

Shellac-based enteric coating
BonuLac film coating is provided as homogeneous, dry-milled powder that you mix
with water. Ingredients include natural shellac, plasticizers, colorants, and other
excipients. Applications include moisture-sealing, taste/odor-masking, and enteric
coating of all varieties of solid dosage forms. Coating is suitable for tablets and cap-
sules containing natural extracts, fatty oils, and other nutritional products. Clear,
white, and colored preparations are available. All formulations meet international
regulatory requirements.

Production-scale tablet coater
Flex 1000 tablet coater uses exchangeable drums that remove and replace easily, sig-
nificantly reducing time between batches. Fully perforated, side-vented drums range
from 175 to 1,200 liters; pan diameter is 60 inches in all capacities. Drum design
provides turbulence-free air at high flow rates, allowing efficient application of film,
sugar, functional, and API coatings. Compu-Coat recipe-driven control system is
set up for multi-language operation. Smooth drum surfaces and water-tight inflatable
seals on access doors allow fully contained WIP.
