Double-sided tablet press
Modul D double-sided high-speed tablet press for bi-layers
controls weight of each layer independently. Low compres-
sion force applied to first layer prevents capping and layer
separation. Extended dwell-time at pre-compression for both
layers promotes sufficient tablet hardness at main compres-
sion, even at maximum turret speed. Zero-gap closed powder
feeder minimizes powder loss and cross-contamination
between layers. Exchangeable compression module reduces
changeover to 1 to 2 hours and isolates product contact parts,
eliminating need to clean. Color touch-screen interface com-
plies with 21 CFR Part 11.
