S P O R T I N G C L A S S I C S 1 7 9 TARgETCAM The TargetCam solves the age-old problem that long-range precision shooters have always had—not being able to see shots on their targets. Through the use of wireless video transmission, the shooter is able to get immediate feedback after every shot by simply looking over at the TargetCam base unit sitting next to him. The TargetCam system works by placing a camera on a tripod downrange roughly 25 feet from the target. A wireless live video image is then transmitted and displayed on the TargetCam base unit located next to the shooter. This gives the shooter instant feedback after every shot without having to move off the rifle. Single camera systems are $785 for the standard 7-inch screen and $1,085 for the 10.4-inch Big Screen model. Additional cameras can be purchased ($275) creating a multiple camera set-up. TargetCam systems come complete and are self-contained, easy to set up, and built into a rugged, top-quality Pelican case. Visit www.TargetCam.net. METAL REED CALL Big Lake Outdoor Products is touting its new Metal Reed call as "Wildly Raspier, Breaks Ducks Faster!" The acrylic D2T2 double reed has a #3 stainless-steel T-Reed or a slightly thicker and more raspy #4. From super-loud to quiet and raspy, the call is perfect for braking high-flying ducks or coaxing close-in birds. The metal T-Reed can imitate the quaking of a mallard hen, or it can be used to make rolling feed calls and Cajun squeal calls. A wood/poly insert version, called the T-Rex, is also available. Big Lake duck calls are designed and built to not stick, lock up, or freeze. Visit www.biglakeoutdoorproducts.com. BERgARA USA RIFLES Bergara USA, a division of Blackpowder Products, Inc. (BPI Outdoors), has introduced the Premier Series BPR-16 Classic (above) and BPR-16 Stalker rifles. Premier Series BPR-16 rifles are built on your choice of hand-laid fiberglass or Grade 5 highly-figured walnut stocks, both featuring an aluminum bedding block.
