National Land Realty is focused on land sales from timberland, farmland, hunting estates, plantations and residential estate properties across the United States. Founded in 2007, the company now has 20 offices in nine states. "National Land Realty is a dynamic, fast-growing company that uses a proactive marketing strategy and a unique, research-based approach," said G. Duncan Grant Jr., LiveOak CEO, and Sporting Classics publisher. "Their management and team of experienced professional agents have taken an industry leadership position by creating highly advanced methods to link buyers and sellers of investment and recreational lands. We believe this partnership with National Land Realty will bring value to our sportsmen-readers. "We see three distinct advantages to this partnership," Grant noted. "For buyers, Sporting Classics can showcase properties in our magazine and web sites that we believe our affluent readers are interested in seeing and acquiring," said Grant. "For sellers of these types of properties, we will provide ways to reach a national audience without huge up-front costs. Throughout the process, National Land Realty will provide technical assistance, proactive marketing strategies, agents on the ground, and exceptional back-end follow-through." "The readers of Sporting Classics are busy professionals with active lifestyles," said Jason Walter, CEO of National Land Realty. "Partnering with the magazine is a great way for us to reach new people who might want to buy or sell land, particularly properties with water or those that support good hunting." trout in the Classroom This past spring 70 kindergarten students from Dutch Fork Elementary School in Irmo, South Carolina, crowded the banks of the Saluda River and released 26 fingerling brook trout into the water. As WLTX reported, the students participated in Trout in the Classroom, a nationwide educational program that gives kindergarten-through-12th- grade students opportunities to raise fish in classroom tanks, monitor their aquatic conditions, learn the tenets of conservation, and set the fish free in nearby streams. Trout in the Classroom is promoted by Trout Unlimited and supported locally by conservation groups and government agencies, such as the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the Lexington- Richland School District Five. Officials believe students gain a better understanding of aquatic life, ecological processes, and watersheds by caring for the trout each day and studying them in close proximity. The Dutch Fork Elementary kindergarteners—the youngest participants so far—received 150 eggs in November, and after caring for them for months, that day on Saluda marked the end of their time with the fish. But the students remained optimistic, despite the parting, as one young girl said, "We have released the trout . . . so they can have their life cycle." Find out more at http://bit.ly/1bB7nHF.
