Auctions & Exhibitions JULIA'S TO AUCTION PHILIP PERCIVAL'S RIGBY DOUBLE A Rigby double rifle owned by celebrated African Professional Hunter Philip Hope Percival will be offered at Julia's Extraordinary Firearms Auction, October 5-7, in Fairfield, Maine. The Rigby Class "C" Special Boxlock, in .470NE, was most likely his first double rifle. When Philip Percival was still quite young, his older brother Blaney (born 1875) left the family home in England and sailed off to East Africa. From there, he proceeded to send Philip exciting accounts of his life as a game warden on the Dark Continent. Within a few years Philip also arrived S P O R T I N G C L A S S I C S 2 0 8 hilip Percival's .470NE Rigby Class "C" Boxlock double rifle will be offered by Julia's at its firearms auction in early October. Opposite: Ken Carlson's Edge of The Shadows will be among many original paintings up for auction September 18th at Trailside Galleries in Jackson, Wyoming. P
