On Wednesday and Saturday evenings, plan to enjoy the re- laxed beauty of the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa while con- necting with friends at the opening and closing receptions. Great food and gorgeous surroundings will make for a relaxing backdrop for both business and social conversations. Spouses Brunch…..Truly a Time for Giving This year Spouses Program Chair Lori Pierce has planned a very special kind of Spouses Brunch. As usual, there will be a wonder- ful array of delicious food but instead of a speaker get ready to participate in a fun activity for a worthwhile cause. This year FEDA is bringing in the Ronald McDonald House Chef-for-a-Day program to make a contribution of time and talent in support of their fami- lies. After eating, FEDA spouses will learn the art of Southwestern cooking as they assemble homemade tamales under the supervi- sion of JW Marriott chefs. The tamales will later be delivered and served by the staff of the JW Marriott Starr Pass on FEDA's behalf. It's going to be a fun time while making the families of the Ronald McDonald House feel a little more at home. (Comfortable clothing suggested.) Spouses Special "Walk & Talk" Tour Nature Path and Scent Station (9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m. Friday) Join us for a short Walk & Talk along the resort's nature path while a J W Marriott guide shares fascinating insights about the unique desert surroundings. Afterwards, the guide will bring the FEDA group to the spa to enjoy some desert-inspired refreshments and learn about the healing properties of the desert. This tour includes prickly pear lemonade and a scent station with take home sachet. This is a fun and informal way to make new friends and learn more about the beauty of the desert. (Comfortable clothing and shoes are suggested, as well as a hat and sunscreen.) Social Activities
