Working from their garage and station wagon, Harry and his wife, Josephine, called on local taverns daily, selling condiments, bar supplies, glassware, bar snacks, glass washing NuFoam, etc. They built their reputation on integrity, selling products at fair competitive prices, and a quick turnaround. All deliveries were made within 48 hours of taking an order. In the early 1970's Harry's sons, Eddie Jr and Lenny, started working for him after school, and have been running the family business since his passing in 1994. Eventually Harry moved the business to a storefront in Massapequa, and then in 1975 he purchased and renovated an old-run down aircraft parts manufacturing building in Farmingdale. His vision was to make the business what Bar Boy Products is today—a 60,000-square-foot build- ing that includes a showroom, offi ce and warehouse. Groundbreaking at Hampton Bays, New York, location in 1987. Harry (right) with Joe Lehr of Glissen.
