BISC South Loop We offer personalized, international education in one of Chicago's most diverse communities. Here, students ages 3 to 18 enjoy a stimulating and purposeful learning environment that enables them to fulfill their highest potential at every stage of the learning journey. Our story began in 2001 with just four students and two classrooms in a historic brick building in Edgewater. Founded by Headmaster Michael Horton, British School of Chicago grew quickly and moved to a new building in Lincoln Park seven years later. In 2015, the school became British International School of Chicago. That same year, Mr. Horton opened BISC South Loop, the second school under the British International School of Chicago umbrella. Nord Anglia Education We are part of Nord Anglia Education (NAE), a family of 43 schools worldwide. Founded in 1972, NAE is the world's leading premium educational organization. It's comprised of international schools, boarding schools and private schools, located in 15 countries, that educate more than 35,000 students between the ages of 2 and 18. All NAE schools are driven by one unifying philosophy: we are ambitious for our students, our people and our family of schools. NAE students join the Global Campus, learning with peers from Boston to Beijing, Hong Kong to Houston. Our Global Campus helps your child explore the world, learn new skills and set their sights higher, developing a truly international perspective through outstanding online, in school and worldwide experiences. From online debates and challenges moderated by invited experts, to expeditions to Tanzania, or performing in a Global Orchestra in New York, we inspire your child to be ambitious in their learning.
