Governing Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Kirby Medical Center is made up of a group of dedicated individuals committed to governing the hospital the
Kirby family gave to Piatt County. The governing board's responsibilities include setting and monitoring the strategic direction of Kirby
Medical Center, adopting broad policy, overseeing the chief executive officer's operation of the hospital and continually evaluating the
hospital's performance.
Community Advisory Committee
A joint effor t is under way to combat chronic disease and mental health issues throughout Piatt County through a
Community Advisor y Committee. In addition to several board members, the committee includes Dr. Glascock, Mike Atwood
and Michelle Gross from The Kirby Foundation, and also Tony Kirkman from Piatt County Mental Health and Dave Remmer t
from Dewitt-Piatt County Public Health.
We'll be communicating fur ther developments of the committee's plans and actions throughout the coming year.
