James H. Kimberly of Chicago, heir of the Kimberly-Clark fortune, stands behind his 1949 Model 166 Ferrari Mille Miglia
Touring Barchetta, car #20, wiping his face and summing up the damages after losing control in third place after 20 laps.
Kimberly flipped over a hay bale and landed upside down in his Ferrari on Turn 3. His date for the weekend, movie star
Ginger Rogers, reportedly gave him a big kiss to show her support and relief, May 27, 1951.
