It's also a short walk from Kurfürstendamm,
one of Berlin's main shopping districts. We
chose a Junior Suite, which – in the European
fashion – is an L-shaped room and not a room
with a separate bedroom, which is what we con-
sider a suite in America. But it was spacious,
with a huge bathroom equipped with a rain
shower, tub, heated floor, double sinks, and
fantastic toiletries from the Italian company
ETRO. The bed was like a cloud, and the in-room
ISSI espresso maker, complimentary bottled
water and sparkling water all lovely touches.
We didn't eat at the highly rated Restaurant Am
Steinplatz, but had an excellent in-room dining
experience. It's a can't-miss.
