f you're one of the thousands of people who year after year
meander the exhibit rooms and galleries during Art Week, or if you're
a newbie, you might find yourself wishing you had your own private
guide; someone knowing the inside scoop, to sit down and tell you
all the insider tips for enjoying and getting the most out of the show.
Well, my friend, consider your wish granted. Chuck Fulcher, organizer
of the Great Western Living and Design Show, talks about how to get
the most out of this show:
Tip #1: Parking/Handicapped Accessible
Montana Expo Park has ample parking. Buses are available for
transport to other venues or it's a great place to meet friends and
carpool. While waiting for a bus, duck inside the Four Seasons Arena.
Give yourself time to take in the spacious 6th Annual Great Western
Living and Design Show. With 30 ft ceilings and 12 ft wide aisles, and
all on one smooth level, if you're looking for elbow room in Big Sky
Country, this venue has it!
Featuring non-traditional and functional art such as
furniture makers, jewelers, antler artists, carvers, iron artists, and
photographers, there's thousands of square feet of space for you to
meander and find unique pieces you won't find anywhere else.
Tip #2: Admire the Artistry and the Vendors who Display It
Chuck Fulcher, himself a fine artist as well as a talented musician,
uses his background in marketing and design to keep the show
fresh by bringing in a variety of new vendors every year. "I've been
a vendor. I know what it's like to be a vendor. I know what vendors
want to have," he says.
