However, instead of profits, their purpose is a divine one. Places to worship are such an integral part of their communities that Redstone Federal Credit Union is honored to help them with their financial services. Neil Carville, Manager, Business Loan Underwriting at Redstone, says church lending is a priority, as evidenced by its dollar contribution to the total business lending portfolio. He also just really enjoys working with church leadership. "Church leaders take their responsibilities seriously," said Carville. "I find they are diligent in their financial stewardship, seeking solutions that are in the best interest of the church. I am proud to say many church leaders choose Redstone for their financial needs." ‡ose financial needs often start with one or two services, such as a checking account and processing the weekly donation checks, but then typically grow to include additional accounts and loans for remodeling or refinancing. World Outreach Church, based in Murfreesboro, TN, and one of the largest churches within a hundred miles, started their Redstone relationship with a loan. Lower interest rates and fees led them to Redstone, but they soon discovered a cost- efficient loan was just the beginning. "While our previous banking relationship was good, the one we have with Redstone is no comparison," said Bill Taylor, Comptroller for World Outreach. "Redstone has been such a great partner with our loan, we moved all our banking to them." T he secondar y lobby at World Outreach Church is among its renovation projects.
