This series enables individuals to implement simple strategies to achieve a cleaner way of preparing and enjoying food to live a healthy lifestyle. GIRLS ONLY & BOYS ONLY KNOW YOUR NUMBERS Knowing and understanding your screening numbers is a vital component of good health. Heart disease and other health issues can be predicted using this information. Join us to learn your numbers and how to decrease your personal risk for disease. FREE SCREENINGS for those 20 years and older include a blood draw for cholesterol and blood sugar levels, blood pressure, waist measurement, body mass index (BMI), and education. These programs for 9- to 12-year-old girls and their moms, and for 9- to 12-year-old boys and their dads, help guide children and parents through the natural physical and emotional changes adolescents go through. These experiences can be overwhelming and puzzling. Knowing what to expect can lessen anxiety and make the transition smoother. Information in HEALTH SENSE comes from a wide range of medical experts.
