Riverview Credit Union Celebrates
50 Years in the Mid-Ohio Valley
June's Business After Hours
Riverview Credit Union, Inc.
was granted State Charter on
March 20, 1968. The officers
and organizing officials can-
vassed all employees of the Un-
ion Carbide Corporation, Mining
and Metals Plant to join the
credit union for 25 cents. Mem-
bers were encouraged to keep
their deposits in a share account
so that money could be loaned to
other members in need.
50 years later, RCU now has two
locations—Belpre and Marietta
and services over 70 Select Em-
ployer Groups and provides ser-
vices to over 5,000 members.
