It's a quick read, and I hope you enjoy this glimpse of CMU from the IT
perspective. If you're interested in more detail, I invite you to review
both our existing strategic plan and the action plan we've built for the
coming year.
This was a good year for IT at CMU, but it wasn't perfect. The migration
of student email immediately before the 2013 fall semester had its
challenges - disrupting communications for a number of our students at
a pretty critical time in the academic year. We're determined to learn and
grow from that experience.
I'm very proud of the hardworking and dedicated staff of IT professionals
and students here at CMU. They do amazing things, and I'm happy to
share some of their successes with you. I hope you'll take a few minutes
to review this report and let me know what you think.
