I've wanted to be a surgeon since I was 5
years old. I've now found a way to combine
my passion for medicine, public health,
research, and mitigating health inequities
in a way that will allow me to pursue my
dreams while also making our health care
system a more inclusive space. I enjoy the
learning opportunities and challenges that I
encounter every day.
