S P O R T I N G C L A S S I C S 1 6 9 of the M9A3 to the US Army. The M9A3 introduces major improvements to the M9 that include design and material enhancements resulting in increased modularity, reliability, durability, and ergonomics. Made in the US since 1987, the M9 has been the sidearm of the armed forces for nearly 30 years, serving with US service men and women in training and combat operations throughout the world. The M9A3 features a removable, modular wrap-around grip; MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail; removable front and rear tritium sights; extended and threaded barrel for suppressor use; 17-round sand-resistant magazine; and numerous improved small components to increase durability and ergonomics, all in an earth tone finish. The 1911 has been a favorite firearm among shooters for decades and the new 1911-380 keeps with that tradition of innovation and function. Scaled down to 85 percent of the original .45 ACP versions, the new single-action 1911-380 is made in the US and utilizes a precision-built composite frame. Extras include an extended ambidextrous safety, beavertail grip safety, machined-steel slide, and skeletonized hammer. It comes in a matte-black finish with fixed combat sights. The barrel measures 4¼ inches; the overall length is 7½ inches and average weight is 17½ ounces. It's slightly larger than most .380 ACP pistols, which helps to dampen recoil and improves control for more accurate follow-up shots. The grip is narrow, but long and wide enough for comfortable shooting. The magazine capacity is 8 rounds. An ABS carrying case is included. Visit www.browning.com. Eagle Imports The American Classic II is a single-action, 1911-style pistol available in .45 ACP and 9mm. It's constructed of 4140 alloy steel, which is tougher than conventional carbon steels and more resistant to corrosion. Metro Arms smoothly finishes a combat trigger to eliminate any hard edges. The skeletonized combat hammer provides fast lock time and allows for easy slide/hammer clearance. The American Classic II has an extended slide stop, flared ejection port, beavertail grip safety, extended thumb safety, and a throated, forged steel barrel. A dovetail front sight and Novak-style rear sight provide snag-free holstering. Diamond cut, checkered hardwood grips, and front and rear slide serrations offer a positive grip in competition or self-defense. Available in three finishes: deep blue, hard chrome, and duo-tone with deep-blue frame and hard-chrome slide. Visit www.eagleimportsinc.com.
