CAPITAN AND THE MERCED RIVER This was a beautiful, cold sunset with the last light shining on El Capitan. This photograph won a contest sponsored by National Geographic and the prize was a two-week safari to Tanzania, which my wife and I enjoyed. BOBCAT ON SWINGING BRIDGE A few of us were photographing on Swinging Bridge early in the morning when this young bobcat walked across a meadow and started to cross the bridge.
