Tel. 267 387 2000 www.ccstabletpress.com Deduster Stainless steel deduster simul- taneously elevates and dedusts as many as 1 million tablets per hour. Tel. 636 926 8900 www.natoli.com Capsule selector-polisher DS71 capsule selector-polisher uses filtered air jet to separate empty, partially filled, or crushed capsules from on-spec filled cap- sules. Unit also removes dust from exterior, handling as many as 160,000 capsules per hour. Machine uses different selection wheels for different capsule sizes, and air flow adjusts to suit capsule weight. LED indicator shows percentage of air flow used. Installed at capsule filler's discharge, adjustable-height unit prevents stoppages; it operates independently. IMA North America, Leominster, MA. Tel. 978 537 8534 www.ima-na.com Surge hopper Single or double surge hopper connects down- stream of company's KD70 series dedusters, tablet presses, or cap- sule fillers to delay products' entry into intermediate bulk con- tainer (IBC). Delay enables you to sample tablets/capsules more easily so you can con- duct quality checks. If quality falls outside specification, hop- per prevents off-spec products from entering IBC, thus lim- iting problem to fraction of total production. In two-hopper configuration, manual or automatic diverter valve guides products into appropriate IBC. At hopper outlet, 4-inch- diameter valve with silicon flap smoothly feeds tablets/cap- sules to IBC(s). Optional sensors for monitoring product level in hopper interface with company's integrated controller or with tablet press or capsule filler. You select hopper volume to suit application.
