Moore Customs Wichita, Kansas This custom built motorcycle named "Kontrolled Kaos" won the coveted title of Easyriders Bike of the Year for 2015. The bike was created by Larry Moore of Moore Customs (pictured). Moore hand crafted the low-slung bike, spending 2 years and about 1,000 manhours to complete it. Kontrolled Kaos boasts a 1976 Harley-Davidson 74- cubic-inch Shovelhead engine as well as a rebuilt 1976 Harley-Davidson 4-speed transmission. The frame is hand bent by Moore out of 4130 chrome molly tubing. He designed the front suspension system using twin forks, a single coil spring with a pivoting link, and adjustable swept-back handlebars. A pivoting link system was also used on the rear end with a spring setup of Moore's own design. The bike was powder coated by Lonny Moore's Collision Service using a custom mixed dark brown color called Mocha Pearl with brushed aluminum panels. The con- trasting raw aluminum was highlighted by Nadine Ward Pinstriping. Photos are courtesy of The Wichita Eagle and Moore Customs' Facebook page.
