Wright Lifetime Achievement Award, went to Kevin Coursin, Engineered Finishing Sys- tems. Coursin was honored for his ded- ication and commitment to CCAI. CCAI also installed its 2017-2018 Na- tional Board of Directors and Officers. SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings, Pittsburgh, Pa., has an- nounced the results of its 2017 election process. Don Holle, Ahbe & Svoboda Inc., was elected to the board in the Coating Contractor demographic. For- mer board president James King, John B. Conomos Inc., will take the role of ex-officio for 2 years so that he may complete his work on various financial committees. Reelected to the board was Jay Kranker, AggrekoNorth America, in the Other Product Supplier category. As of July 1, Brian Skerry, Sherwin- Williams Protective and Marine Coat- ings, will take over as president of the Board of Governors. Garry Manous, Atsalis Bros. Painting, will be president- elect. Joe Walker, Elcometer, will serve as vice president. Gunnar Ackx, SCI- CON Worldwide, will become imme- diate past-president. SSPC is the only nonprofit association that is focused on the protection and preservation of con- crete, steel, and other industrial and ma- rine structures and surfaces through the use of high-performance protective, marine, and industrial coatings. The Powder Coating Institute (PCI), Taylor Mill, Ky., recently held its annual Hall of Fame Banquet. Hall of Fame members are selected for their many years of service and dedication to PCI and the powder coating industry. This year, honoree Bob Allsop, a 42-year em- ployee of Nordson Corp., was recog- nized for his service on multiple PCI committees, the PCI Board of Directors, and for serving in all the PCI officer posi- tions.
