12 POWDER COATING, August 2017 Quaker Windows & Doors Freeburg, Missouri For over 65 years, Quaker Windows & Doors has been dedicated to making quality products for the res- idential, commercial, and architectural markets. Today, the second-generation owners are continuing this tra- dition of quality by using the highest-grade materials, cutting-edge technology, and top-notch facilities to incorporate their expertise into every product sold. Quaker quickly saw the advantages that powder coat- ings have over wet paint, including a solvent-free work- place, lower overall line costs, and ease of cleanup. They found TCI's TruDurance architectural powder coat- ings to be the right alternative to wet paint. By joining in partnership with TCI, Quaker has been able to proudly produce what they call "The Quaker Differ- ence," a high-quality result the first time for every job. Eastside, Pittsburgh, Pa.—This new construction mixed-use project features TCI's Black, 2604 finish on all exterior window trim. Colt Armory, Hartford, Conn.—The historical replica- tion of the original Colt .45 manufacturing plant received a custom green color from TCI's 2604 finish to match the building's original color. Boricua Village, Bronx, N.Y.—This new construction project contains low-income housing and also Boricua University. The exterior features custom off-white color to meet specs in 2604 finish.
