the races before as a fan, though
I have participated in Breeders' Cup
events in the past.
MM: Yes, of course, it is a very
exciting sport that I was aware
of at a young age.
MM: Yes, I am a very big fan of
professional baseball. I have
been asked to throw out the
first pitch at several major league
ballparks and this year did so for
the Anaheim Angels and Seattle
Mariners. Of course I love all
the Japanese players!
TDN: Had you ever been to
the races before?
TDN: Horse racing is a major sport in
Japan. Were you aware of it growing up?
TDN: You wanted to be a baseball player
when you were younger. Do you follow
baseball here in America? Do you root
for a particular team?
