GLOBAL q Page 16 The BICSI Mainland Europe District held their 2018 BICSI Greece Day on October 5, in association with the Layer One 2018 Conference at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens. The event brought together speakers, attendees, Layer One Conference sponsors and participants from around the world. The day included technical sessions, exhibits and networking opportunities. Watch your email for details. For its second installment in 2018, the France BICSI Day in Paris was recently held on October 23, with nearly 60 participants. The theme, "Digital Infrastructure and Smart Building," brought many key influencers in the France ICT market to the event. Delegates shared information through technical presentations, exhibits of the latest smart building technological innovations and a lot of networking. BICSI Mainland Europe District Chair, Gautier Humbert, RCDD, discussed the ANSI/BICSI 007, Information Communication Technology Design and Implementation Practices for Intelligent Buildings and Premises standard and how it compares to international standards.q Hundreds of ICT professionals gathered at Australia's only conference and exhibition focused on ICT infrastructure— The 2018 BICSI South Pacific Conference & Exhibition, held on October 9-10 in Brisbane. Attendance at this annual event provided delegates a unique opportunity to expand their ICT infrastructure knowledge so that, in turn, ICT professionals can help their customers' businesses survive.
