Pockets Full of Sunshine aims at making the Lowcountry a 'sunnier' place by providing socially inclusive opportunities for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. We call these adults "Rays" because their bright demeanor and joyful personalities are literally "rays of sunshine" to those who cross their paths. By supporting social and vocational opportunities for exceptional individuals, Pockets Full of Sunshine increases their interaction with the general population and provides them with increased independence, growth and a sense of personal pride. We have volunteer and fundraising activities throughout the year as well as fun social events.
