Dissolution tester
Opt-Diss 410 UV fiber-optic dissolution tester measures
solution directly in the vessel, eliminating problematic fil-
ters, tubing, and pumps used in conventional sampling.
Because it works by moving light rather than liquids, the
unit generates near real-time dissolution data and almost
limitless sample points as frequently as every 5 seconds.
Arch probes prevent bubbles and trapped particles, prob-
lems associated with other fiber-optic dissolution testers.
Multi-component analysis quantifies two components at
once without the need for separation, and a single software
package controls all operations.

Capsule checkweigher
Anritsu KWS capsule checkweigher inspects up to 230,000
capsules per hour with a ±0.5-milligram accuracy. Individ-
ual load cells allow the operator to remove or replace a sin-
gle weigh position, and overload protection prevents break-
downs after accidental overload during changeover or
cleaning. Other features include internal weights for auto-
matic calibration, tool-less changeover that takes as little as
