This is according to the report Fabric Filters Market (Type: Pulse Jet, Reverse Air/Gas, and Others; End-user Industry: Power Generation, Chemical Industry, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverages, Steel Mills, and Others) — Global Industry Analysis, Size, Share, Growth, Trends, and Fore- cast, 2019-2027 by Transparency Market Research, a market research analysis company. Fabric filters, also known as bag- house filters, are advantageous for dust collection applications that require high particle collection efficiency. A growing understanding of the impact of air pollution and indus- trialization on climate change will drive the global fabric filters market and the demand for fabric filtration systems. Pulse-jet-type baghouse filters dominated the global fabric filters market, holding a 55 percent market share in 2018. The Asia- Pacific region holds the strongest market share and growth rate for fabric filters, largely due to the region's rapid pace of industrializa- tion. The company and subsidiaries will spend about $294 million to install and operate air pollution and monitoring technology to reduce flaring and the subsequent harm- ful air pollution from 26 industrial flares at its facilities in Hahnville and Plaquemine, LA, and Free- port and Orange, TX. Once fully operational, the required pollution controls are expected to reduce harmful air emissions of volatile organic compounds by more than 5,600 tons per year and toxic air pol- lutants by nearly 500 tons per year. Dow Chemical Co. is a mul- tinational chemical corporation headquartered in Midland, MI. MARKETS UPDATE Air pollution control market on track to grow to $102.9 billion by 2027 The global market for air pollution control systems was estimated at $74 billion in 2020 and is expected to grow at a 6 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) to reach $102.9 billion by 2027. This is accord- ing to the 283-page Air Pollution Control Systems — Global Market Tra- jectory & Analytics report released in April by Research and Markets, a market research company.
