June 2021 / 53 PBE AROUND THE INDUSTRY SUPPLIER NOTES Donaldson adds real-time monitoring service to industrial dust collectors Donaldson Company Inc., a man- ufacturer of filtration equipment and products based in Minneapolis, MN, will provide its proprietary iCue filtration service as a standard feature on some dust collectors. Connected dust collectors will allow maintenance personnel to monitor and manage operational performance in real time. The company will include the monitoring device and service on five specific dust collector models purchased after March 30. Addi- tional equipment models will feature the monitoring device and service later this year. The hard- ware, standard monitoring sensors, and a trial service subscription are included. The subscription-based ser- vice provides automated reports, an online interface for detailed analysis, and real-time alerts for assessment and action if the dust collection system operates outside the set parameters. The service doesn't require IT integration with an internal automation network and is available in the US, Canada, and Europe.
